The Integrity and Open Government Network Foundation brings together professionals, civil society organizations, academia and the private sector around a shared goal: to protect democracy and strengthen the proper use of public resources in Chile.

To generate evidence about corruption and turn it into concrete action through citizen participation.
Vision
To be a reference in Chile and South America in integrity, transparency and citizen oversight of public management.
Origin
A response to an identified gap.
RIEA arose from the work of the External Advisory Commission of the Comptroller General of the Republic, where a critical gap was identified: information about corrupt acts is public but fragmented and complex to understand, the judicial or administrative path of cases is opaque to most people, and the conclusion or impact of anti-corruption actions is not perceived clearly. A perception of impunity thus takes hold.

The Network aims to close that gap by articulating three capacities —evidence, action and training— in a single strategic hub that is independent, technical and non-partisan.

Receive information
Initial analysis of available data, cases of public interest and institutional needs.
Define strategy
Planning and design of the roadmap with clear objectives, indicators and deadlines.
Execute actions
Implementation of tasks and processes by the Network's three operating units.
Generate impact
Measurement and evaluation of results, publication of findings and public feedback.

Structure with strict separation of functions.

Strategy
Board
Composed of ten members with experience in the public sector, academia, private sector and civil society. Meets regularly every 15 days.

Advisory
Advisory Council
The Consultative Council (article 28 of the bylaws) brings together outstanding personalities from academia, professional, cultural and scientific worlds, both Chilean and international. Does not intervene in executive administration; opinions are non-binding.

Execution
Executive Direction
Responsible for daily strategic and operational management. Reports to the Board. Coordinates the Strategy & Impact, Operations, Intelligence, Outreach and Legal areas.
